I've seen what my wife goes through and to me, if anyone is going through pain for whatever reason, it counts as a sick day. Unless there is a can't-be-missed meeting or a major, major deadline, you are better off being home than filling up a chair in the office getting nothing done.

Annoying Restaurant Trends {Slashfood}

Nov 6th 2008 2:34PM Deserts that cost as much as entrees and will feed 4 people. Went to one restaurant that had a 1 pound 7 tier slice of chocolate cake on the menu for $8. That's the only way they offered it. I'd have rather had a smaller slice for a smaller price.

Sep 8th 2008 10:29AM They may say it is the same as sugar, but my problem with high fructose corn syrup in drinks is the taste. I just don't like it and prefer to drink teas and colas that use cane sugar.

May 29th 2008 2:53PM As someone who roasts and sells coffee on a small scale, I roast coffees that I like, but I'm not someone who sits and drinks coffee and talks about the subtle nuances in the brew. I just like good, fresh roasted coffee.
