Nov 10th 2007 10:45AM My daughter and I have been wearing locs for about two years now. We love it. I do both heads myself and can see for myself how dry and brittle our hair gets. I have just started to use Pantene Pro-V (for women of color) So far no complaints and it is afforadable. Anything that will help bring moisture back to this hairstyle while not adding build up.

Sep 26th 2007 10:41PM I too went from perm to braid and now have locks. I honestly have never been to a professional since starting my locks and like always I am having problems with breakage and dryness especially breakage around the hairline. I look forward to reading, hearing and learning about different products to use for these issues.
