Processing systems can and do keep track of over/short payments. Many systems keep this as a running total and add this to the invoice once a predetermined amount is reached. In my opinion, her policy had already been tagged for due to her illness. The .01 shortage was simply an attempt to void coverage for what would turn out to be very expensive for the conmpany.

Saving children from a life of poverty or crime has more positive impact than getting pissy about wearing fur. I have to assume the anti-fur pinheads do not wear leather shoes or belts and don't use anything derived from animal products.
