Motherhood Moments: Coping with Mother's Day When Mom is in Decline or Gone {ParentDish}

May 8th 2011 10:37PM Thank you for your story. I lost my mom 5 years ago too, so I know how you feel for I felt the same way. I have finally come to grips with losing my mom and now I am at peace. But I still talk with her almost everyday and I feel her so strongly in my life. I love you Mom, and Happy Mother's day. Your daughter loves you always.

'You're the Meanest Mom in the World!' {ParentDish}

Apr 9th 2011 2:42PM I have a 17 year old daughter and a 15 soon to be 16 year old son. I know where they are everytime the leave the house. You have to be that way with your kids. I watch parents who let their kids do whatever they want to do. And Geri, you are absolutely correct in feeling the way you feel about your kids. That is just pure love for your children. A 12 year old isn't even a teenager yet, so yes there will be tons of things they won't be able to do if they were my kids. Parents have to be parents, period, and I think when you child becomes and adult and start having kids they will understand and may pick of some of the things you did with your children.

Texting Scam Targets Jobless {WalletPop}

Mar 5th 2011 10:38AM You know what Jim, there are so many people clicking on these scams its unbelievable. If its wasn't so many people, then these scams wouldn't be showing in the comments sections like they do. And yes you have to be a real dummy to even give anyone your personal information when you don't even really know who you are talking to. I guess in time people will understand not to click on things that don't look right. Time will tell.

Is Target Cheaper Than Walmart? One Survey Says Yes {WalletPop}

Mar 3rd 2011 11:40PM Thank you Ralph, I was about to say the same thing. I remember I went to Target for halloween costumes because Walmart's were all just about gone, and lord Jesus, their halloween costumes were so expensive, I didn't buy any. I just went to K-Mart and found some cheaper. I don't know how they are doing this study, but Target has never been and never will be cheaper than Walmart.

Caller I.D. Spoofing: Don't Believe the Number Showing on Your Phone {WalletPop}

Jan 1st 2011 6:08PM That is what I'm trying to understand too John, it is legal for these companies to be offering this service? I know I get calls sometimes and the number will just be 0, so I never pick up the phone either, because I don't know anyone that has a number as 0. Maybe I'm being spoofed I don't know.

Consumer Ally's Top 5 Scams of 2010 {WalletPop}

Jan 1st 2011 12:25AM I can't believe LifeLock is a scam. But who isn't nowadays. I don't trust most of my email so everything goes to spam for me. I know people are desperate now, with not having a job and wondering how you are going to pay your bills, but please don't be fooled by these scams. Anytime anyone ask you for some money, its a scam period. I just thought I had signed up for cheap homes for sale in my state, and I never got to see any of the houses because they were so busy trying to sell me something, so they went to spam and i unsubscribed from them. Everyone just be careful, none of us have any money to just be giving to anyone.

Don't Reply to Weird Spam: They Want Your Email Address {WalletPop}

Dec 30th 2010 6:36PM See Sudoku, when you even get mail from someone you know, if it doesn't have anything in the subject line or it looks weird to you, you shouldn't open that either. I was spammed a long time ago from a email I got from a friend and the subject line said tfopd, but I didn't know what it meant until I clicked on it and finally realized that they had all of my families email addresses and passwords so I had to go to AOL and change everyone's passwords, and it was horrible but I've never been through that since. I am very careful about clicking on email now. Hope this helps you in the future.

Don't Reply to Weird Spam: They Want Your Email Address {WalletPop}

Dec 30th 2010 6:28PM I will never have this problem because if it is email from someone I don't know, it goes to spam period. People just realize if it's from someone you don't know, just put it in your spam folder, and that is it.

Retro Bathroom Makeovers {Shelterpop}

Dec 30th 2010 5:00PM Yes I was thinking about re-tiling my bathroom again. My house caught on fire about 8 years ago and I didn't put the tile back in the bathroom. I'm kind of missing it now, so tile may be something I re-do again. Thanks Roni for your help in helping me. I really need to do something to my bathroom soon. It is so lovely and big but it just looks dull now.

Retro Bathroom Makeovers {Shelterpop}

Dec 30th 2010 1:14PM I know I need to re-do my bathroom, I have a really large bathroom with a porch attached. It's all beige and brown now, but it looks very dull. I haven't come up with the colors yet I want to change it to but i know I will be doing it soon. If someone could help me come up with some really nice colors, I would surely appreciate it.
