Dec 11th 2009 3:00PM I'm sorry, but having worked with both rapists and rape victims, I have no problem with what Ms. Dickenson told the victim. Going to a frat house and getting drunk IS irresponsible although that does not excuse, by any stretch of the imagination, the crime that was committed against her. Any young woman who places herself in that situation is in danger, and while she did not ASK to be raped, she placed herself in a situation that made the possibility of sexual assault a reality. She IS a victim; she was victimized, and HE should be prosecuted. However, SHE is responsible for her behavior, and choosing to get drunk in a room full of college boys is stupid.

No infant/toddler knows enough about clothing to choose their own clothes, so someone wants her ultra-girly. and the shoes look silly. She's WAY too little for them.

May 13th 2009 4:17PM I agree that Ms. Oprah lost it a long time ago...it's called humility. She appealed to people because she was humble and remembered where she came from. Now it's all about her. Watch her show when someone is performing; she'll be looking at the monitors to make sure she's on camera. She lost me 2 years ago when she criticized a mentally ill mother and kept interrupting to put in her opinion, leaving the on-stage psychriatrist to just nod her head and agree. She's not a true philanthropist if she brags about it later. And the cars she "gave away" a few years ago to needy mothers?
Donated by the manufacturer, and the mothers had to pay the taxes on it. Not very generous if you can flaunt your private jet.
