Oct 13th 2008 6:58PM When I was a kid, my mom knew a lady who made me a hamburger cake for one of my birthdays....it looked pretty good. The same lady made a taco shaped cake for another friend of my mom's who was a Mexican (this could be construed as a bit racist of my mom, but her heart was in the right place, I think, lol).
I it was my 8th birthday that someone made a baseball diamond shaped field for my birthday that had my summer league team in attendance....pretty much every cake after that (if there was one) was store bought....Oh well!

Oct 31st 2007 2:22AM When I was in high school, we always had a Junior-Senior egg fight after the bonfire party the day before homecoming. In 2005, when I was a Junior, I bought eggs at the local grocer for the occasion.
I lived in a small town (less than 1000 people) where everyone knew one another. Little did I know that the checkout lady was taking names of all high schoolers buying eggs.
Before i went out that evening, my mom got a call from the town Marshal, who informed her that I had bought eggs....can you belive that? Is that even legal?
I still had a good time that night, and I wonder how many other parents got a call from a Marshall too lazy to do his own policework.
