Dec 20th 2008 6:54PM Mitzi, I agree totally with what you said. But I don't think that when you are disappointed with a lame gift from a boyfriend or husband you are being selfish or materialistic. I think the disppointing thing is that you know they weren't even thinking about you or even care about how the gift makes you feel. Better to get nothing at all and a new boyfriend. I hope for the safe return of your boyfriend and all our men and women in the Middle East.
