Feb 27th 2010 6:49PM I feel bad for sharing this, but my sister who is almost 10 years younger than me is an expert on raising children, despite the fact she does not have any children of her own. I have 3 boys who are now 24, 17, & 15. It's probably because she has 2 dogs and a cat that she has sooo much wisdom regarding my children! This why I've done everything wrong & why she could have done it better! I wish I was kidding but I'm not. That's just my side of the family!
Concussions Kill? NFL Finally Gets It {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Nov 19th 2009 8:08PM My son played midget football in a very competitive fb league from the age of 8 until high school. He played offense as a wide receiver & defense as a safety. He wouldn't tell us after probably the first 2 concussions because after going to the doctor we wouldn't let him play until he went 2 wks w/o a headache. He loved to play & was afraid of losing his position & playing time. Until he came crawling off the field and couldn't see for 15 minutes did we realize the severity of his concussions. He switched to ice hockey, which you would think would be just as bad but it wasn't. He was the one that would deliver the hits on defense and he could use his body more. He still has uncontrollable shakes in his hands and headaches which are probably from his concussions. He's training to be an electrician and is only 22. I wish I had known then what I know now.

If you are going to make comments try to stick to something that you do in fact have some clue about besides just wasting time & space! When we should be reading peoples praise about Joe Sakic's long lustrious & distinguished career contrubting to the NHL, Team Canada, & his community. All while raising a beautiful family! Enough said.

Sep 18th 2007 2:48PM Love Jimmy, loved when he was on SNL, & cracked me up when when he would laugh and make the other guys laugh. I used to love it when Chris Farley would make everyone laugh too! I though the show was about comedy, hence the laughter...
