How Do I Get Rid of Saddlebags? {That's Fit}

May 14th 2010 8:29PM We have almost the same stats. I'm 44, 115lbs and 5'2". What helped me is exercising 5-6 days a week on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I do lunges and squates 3x's a week. It also helps if you limit your fat to at least 30 per day. I also drink plenty of water and try to avoid salt. Hope this helps !

Will You Marry Me? {AOL Hot Searches}

May 3rd 2009 8:05AM I thought this article was about engagement rings??? When my husband proposed to me at a candlelight dinner, on the beach in Cancun and he went down on one knee and starting telling me how he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and then I saw the blue box...I couldn't believe it. I gasped for air for about 3 minutes. I couldn't speak. He thought I was ill. lol We went to Michael C Fina, in Manhattan and made a printer copy of the rings we wanted. We than went to a jeweler, Habberman in the diamond district and asked him to duplicate our wedding bands. Just gorgeous!!!

Do Short Women Really Get Taken Less Seriously? {Lemondrop}

May 1st 2009 7:49PM I'm 5'2" and have been in the retail/banking industry for almost 20 years. The only thing that counted were my results, which were double-digit increases. My bosses didn't have a problem with my height but I can understand how it feels to be taken seriously. I try to always wear suits and carry myself in a professional manner. Yes I would have enjoyed another 4 inches but I wasn't made that way. Learn to love yourself.

Walgreens Pulls Chia-Obama. Is it Racist? {Politics Daily}

Apr 7th 2009 6:07PM It isn't racist, it's the company that makes the product trying to capitalize on Obmana. I recently went furniture shopping and the store was giving away a photoframe away of Obama with a purchase. I thought it was a dumb idea and wouldn't bring in sales. This isn't being racist it's companies trying to make a "buck" the good old American way. Stop reading into things. People/companies see an opportuinity and will milk it away much way. I have a custmer that is becoming so wealthy because he is selling "Obmana coins". Is he being a racist? No he's just making money on people willing to pay for it. I think it's a dumb idea but he's laughing his way to the bank.

Obama Fried Madness in New York {Blackvoices Main}

Apr 6th 2009 10:06PM I don't understand what the big deal is. Is it offensive if you had Bush's Texas Saloon or Clinton's Southern Cooking Buffet? Get over yourselves, they're trying to make a buck on Obama...ohhh the American way.

NJ, NY top list of highest state+local taxes; where does your state fall? {WalletPop}

Aug 10th 2008 10:27AM I moved to Clearwater, FL from NYC over 2 years ago. I had to take over a 20% pay cut which in reality was $50 less on each paycheck (bi-monthly). This I can live with considering I travel less than 4 minutes to work as before I traveled 90 minutes to get to Midtown Manhattan. But what surprised me most was the amount of real estate taxes we pay in FL; the tax is basically based on the "value" of your home and you pay a percentage which is anywhere between 1.5-2.8%. It's tough to find a job here and the employers use that against you. They abuse management because they know it's difficult for you to find another high paying job. I also don't have children. If I did, I wouldn't have moved them here; it's not the best system. In FL the sales tax is a little lower than in NYC. But in NYC you need to dress the part whether you're at work or play. In FL, they're less bout fashion so I get to save money on clothes. But I still where my Ann Taylor suits to work. I love NYC but I never enjoyed it because of the stress from commuting. I visit 3-4 times a year to enjoy my family, friends and the city. But I would NEVER live there and be a part of the rat race and I love my backyard. The bottom line is wherever you live you need to be smart (regarding crime) and everything seems to be relevant. It's tough to make ends meet wherever you live. It's easier said than done but you can't live beyond your means and remember that things are things. Don't be into the hype of what everyone is trying to "sell' you. You don't need most of the 'toys' that are out there today.

A saving grace for airlines: Wi-Fi in the sky {BloggingStocks}

Aug 9th 2008 9:41AM I think it's a great way for the airlines to make money. I can't stand taking a long flight with just watching TV, listening to music, reading...I like to have options. I think it's wrong to charge us for everything but the airlines is a business and they need to come up with creative ways of making money and keeping customers satisfied. I'l pay but my husband will just sleep :)

In defense of Bank of America (BAC) raising ATM fee {BloggingStocks}

Sep 17th 2007 7:21PM Good for BOA! If you are a non-customer you need to pay up to use their ATM. And a customer pays $0. Way to go...this also keeps the lines down at the ATM, so their customer are able to use their ATM"s
