Indiana Congressional Candidate Tim Crawford's Puzzling Letter to Voters {Politics Daily}
May 27th 2010 6:54AM While I admittedly know nothing about this candidate (as I live in New England) I do know the definition of "medium". It is NOT what the writer of this article tries to infer the meaning to be. Yes "Medium" is a primetime television show about a psychic but obviously in this case the candidate is using the PRIMARY definition of the word---ie,something in a middle condition or degree. Please Mr. Schmuhl educate yourself before publicly admonishing another. Quite frankly you have made both yourself and Politics Daily look very petty and foolish today.
In Light of Murder Investigation, Virginia Should Shut Down Lacrosse Program {Fanhouse - Kevin Blackistone}
May 10th 2010 6:13AM @dpeoples-speaking of not thinking. Based on precisely which bit of information did you glean the likelihood of "more sociopaths on the roster". Very unthinking, very unwise on your part.
Ink Your Resume, Not Your Body: More People Lose Tattoos {AOL Jobs}
May 1st 2010 6:40PM @Jules--help me understand (if you can) to understand how an MS tatoo helps to "raise awareness" of the disease. I also have MS and see no point to your chosen display--it does not educate it merely advertises.
Will Post-Health-Care-Fatigue Syndrome Thwart GOP Plans? {Politics Daily}
Mar 24th 2010 2:41PM @CHUCK---WOULD THAT BE THE WAR THAT obama IS SENDING MORE TROOPS TO FIGHT--IS THAT THE WAR OU ARE TALKING ABOUT?
Student Loan Changes on the Way -- What Does It Mean for You? {Politics Daily}
Mar 23rd 2010 12:51PM @desertrse1---ummmm maybe you haven't noticed but you MUST participate in both social security and Medicare as ummmmm---they take it from your paycheck,whether you "choose" to participate or not. Fool.
George Gallup, Health Care and the Peril of Legislating by Polls {Politics Daily}
Mar 21st 2010 10:13AM I'm so tired of this third grade school yard argument equating auto insurance with health insurance...how can you not see the difference. If you don't want to buy auto insurance, you don't HAVE to drive. But unless you're willing to die in order to avoid it,you MUST buy health insurance
George Gallup, Health Care and the Peril of Legislating by Polls {Politics Daily}
Mar 21st 2010 10:10AM oh please--no reasonable person is against health care reform, but this bill is NOT reform and will not help people stop hurting. It is at best healthi insurance reform where the insurance companies will make money by govt subsideis and will be able to offer significantly less services...please read the bill before you spew..
George Gallup, Health Care and the Peril of Legislating by Polls {Politics Daily}
Mar 21st 2010 10:07AM while generally I agree that it is a bad idea to legislate via polls, it must also be acknowledged that those who are elected have a responsibility to vote in a manner that is consistent with the will of their constituents. Because we all know too often who a candidate portrays himself to be and who he is as a politician are very different....that being said that politician has the unenviable job of balancing his views with the both the best interests and opinions of those who elected him. ULTIMATELY IF A POLITICIAN OR BODY OF POLITICIANS IGNORES THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE THAN WE THE PEOPLE ARE BEING RULED AND NOT REPRESENTED----and didn't we reject that idea back in 1776? but hey that's just one seven billionth of the world's opinion........
Luv Coach Q&A: Rebuilding Trust {BV on Love}
Mar 5th 2010 11:13AM To all the young wives posting I certainly wish you the best of luck in life and am glad so far things are working out for you. However you are taking offense where none is intended. While it is certainly true that some people are more "mature" than others at any given age it is also true that the human brain (specifically those areas responsible for predicting long term consequences and predicting long term behaviors) have not physiologically "matured" until (on average) the mid twenties. This is not a judgment or put down but simply an anatomical fact. Just as a 12 yr old boy is capable of fathering a child and MAY behave as a wonderful dad doesn't make it a good idea......
President Signals Support for Reconciliation to Pass Health Care {Politics Daily}
Mar 3rd 2010 4:22PM How shortsighted and foolish to try to make so complex an issue as politics so ridiculously black and white. By implying that democrzats are good and republican are bad you only show your intolerance and ingnorance so no one will listen to whatever point you think you make......just one seven billionth of the world's opinion
