Rep: 'Single Ladies' Girls Did 'Nothing Provocative' {PopEater}

May 15th 2010 11:04PM I have to agree here. It's not always pictures and videos of the hardcore that make it into a pedophile's library. I won't share the horrors of my childhood but yes, just clips like this or of kids wearing swimsuits that are too revealing, and hidden shoe-cam vids under skirts are par for the course here. It's like grown men wanting to buy a SI swimsuit edition, and then the hardcore stuff when he's really in the mood. You can bet some sicko is getting off to this.

Rep: 'Single Ladies' Girls Did 'Nothing Provocative' {PopEater}

May 15th 2010 10:56PM Miller added, "As a father, when you're watching your kid, no. You're looking at it as a proud kid who has really high energy, who doesn't really know what she's doing." - Yeah, dad? Pedophiles say the same thing about their victims: how cute it is that they just don't know what they're doing but all they know is it makes someone happy. Trust me. I had to live that objectification and they are learning their bodies make people happy and that's all that really counts in life. I can only hope some coach doesn't take advantage of them in a few years and they have to go through the years of therapy so many of us have to after being objectified as children. It's NOT cute when little girls mimic sex acts, exotic dancing, or flirtatious moves used by ADULT women to attract guys in clubs. There is just something so wrong with sexualizing children in any way shape or form. These parents can't see it because there's money and fame and if their kids hit it big they will be somebody in some rich circle someday, no matter the kid might have to suffer at some point.

Does Oral (Or Anal) Count As Having Sex? Nobody Knows {Lemondrop}

Mar 6th 2010 8:13PM If you can catch a disease from it, it's sex. My husband and I have this argument off and on. He claims he was a virgin when we got married even though he had given and received oral with a few girls prior to us. I always say, "well, do lesbians have sex?" The answer is yes. They're getting off, for one, and for another, STD's can be passed via oral. I work at a hospital and you wouldn't believe the number of girls that come in with gonorrhea in their mouth and throat, and the parents insist their kid is a virgin and they can't possibly have venereal disease. Sorry, Mom, but she may have her hymen, but she's not innocent. She got it from one guy and can pass it to another. Sexually transmitted means transmitted by sexual activity, and oral counts. Anal sex is sex, oral sex is sex, vaginal sex is sex. Sex toys are for sex. The key word there is sex.

How A One-Night Stand Turned Me Into An Accidental Poster Girl {Lemondrop}

Tweeting Your Miscarriage: Is Nothing Sacred? {Politics Daily}

Oct 4th 2009 8:16PM There's something to be said for establishing social protocol. It's the basis for laws and rules - we all live on this planet together and have a social aspect to our psyche that must be nurtured, therefore we must interact with each other. What gets me is the flippancy with which she is treating the end of a life. It's not about what you are and aren't allowed to say - how you say it and the discretion with which you treat certain topics matter greatly. But perhaps knowing the good and the bad in people is a consequence of our technical society, and the desensitization to everything. She is probably unaware that her attitude is socially inappropriate and morally wrong, at the very least. Social rules are broken down more and more, and while some should be, others should not - no one should be beaten/raped, life is sacred, torture of living things is abhorrent, and murder is criminal. These should always remain true.

Woman Terminates Adoption Because She Can't Bond With The Child {ParentDish}

Oct 4th 2009 12:26AM Why did it take over a year, though? After the first 3 months, you'd think the state and agency would intervene to rectify the problem. Plenty of moms don't bond with their bio kids, and that is dealt with in a variety of ways - they normally don't get to act on a return policy, though. It's shaping a life, raising a productive member of society. Having kids isn't about you and what you want as a parent, as many a teen mother will eventually admit. It's a big life-changing decision and this should have been a consideration in the "what ifs" by the agency's social workers from the get-go. I know it's in several of my parenting books and on websites devoted to conception in the sections devoted to *deciding* to have a child. She just ruined this kid's life again. Blame the baby? Uh, hello - he's already got issues from the birth parents and now you're projecting disappointment in your own infertility or whatever? Yeah, poor kid's screwed up for life now. I blame the adoption agency and the parents. Where was the dad's say in all this??? How's he getting off the hook? He ruined the kid's life, too.

Is Lauer plotting against Vieira? {AOL TV}

Jan 25th 2007 10:44PM I've always thought Matt was the worst part of the show. I don't think he's necessarily sabatoging her, but she isn't as good as Katie at pulling the show together despite him. It takes a strong personality and a good journalist to do it by yourself.

Matt is a mysgogenistic, narcissistic, corny jackass. I don't know why they didn't just make the show over with two new hosts. Scrap them all and put in a fresh cast. Give me GMA any day.

Mmm ... Thieving Grandmas {Cinematical}

May 19th 2006 6:47PM Haha! It just hit me - the motion picture industry is arresting unaware grandparents and 12 yr old kids for downloading movies, yet doesn't pay attention to the messages itself sends the public!!! LOLOLOLOL I'll have my irony shaken, not stirred, thanks.

Mmm ... Thieving Grandmas {Cinematical}

May 19th 2006 6:44PM Sad, but true: torrid lives make for interesting entertainment fodder. While it's good entertainment, I doubt she deserves to be glorified and *gasp* paid for such a thing. If anything, her part of the proceeds of the movie should go to those she stole from as restitution. By the way, how come everyone is upset about this, a real-life story, but not righteously angry about every other movie about theft? Because it's good entertainment, that's why - except this time there's a real person in the role of the suave crook. I don't condone what she did, but the past is the past and it's interesting. All my grandparents had to tell me were stories about life on a farm and how maxi pads used to have belts to hold them in place.

Madonna and Guy Richie want another child {ParentDish}

Apr 20th 2006 8:27PM I think for normal moms, the thought of whether or not to do it has a lot to do with finances, health, and whether or not you'd ever terminate a pregnancy due to Down syndrome or some other genetic abnormality. Madonna has a team of personal trainers, personal nutritionists, access to the best doctors, and plenty of cash to fund fertility treatments if necessary. She's healthy, rich, and has access to nannies to boot. For her, it's not such a bad idea. Celebrity babies make good gossip and cute pictures!
