Nov 9th 2011 7:58PM To the best of my knowledge no one has ever drowned from a fire sprinkler going off but lots of people have burned to death in fires. If you have fire insurance it usually covers water damage from fire suppression (sprinklers or a fire fighters hose) and property can be replaced/repaired, if you burn to death you can't be.
