Is It Time to Stop Picking on Glenn Beck? {Inside TV Blog}
Nov 20th 2009 2:13PM Oh please. The things described here are no worse than many of the stunts he has pulled in the past. Michael Moore is incredibly annoying, yes. And I have a hard time listening to things he has to say. But he doesn't go on psychotic rants stir people up, just for the fun of doing so. Hardly a patriot, he finds a band of people who believe whatever he has to say, despite evidence to the contrary. He is a modern day Joe McCarthy--dedicated to incite not to inform.
Twihard Mom Seeks Signed Panties from Taylor Lautner on 'Jay Leno Show' (VIDEO) {Inside Movies Blog}
Nov 19th 2009 2:21PM I'm sure he was taken by surprise, but I wish he had said that he couldn't believe how inappropriate her request was--especially in front of her young daughter. Then he should have signed a piece of paper for the girl. (The autograph was likely for the mother anyway--for her use as she used box after box of D batteries, the pig.)
Janet Jackson: We Knew About Michael's Drug Problem {Popeater}
Nov 19th 2009 2:15PM Two key elements: 1) Propofol is not a "street drug" and is obtained through a physician. It has no street use and is used as a safe form of anesthesia. The second this poser-doctor used it away from an operating room, he was no longer a doctor but a drug dealer and should be dealt with like any other dealer whose sales result in a death. 2) Michael Jackson was a drug addict, plain and simple. Until an addict wants to change, it is unlikely that he will. (I know of one who was forced to change due to incarceration and after he left jail--after only four months, he hasn't gone back to it after almost ten years. That's the only right thing he has done in his life, but that's a pretty big something.)
Jackson is responsible for his own death, but he was aided by his sleazy physician who should pay a hefty price for his hand in this.
Terrell Suggs Has Partially Torn MCL, Brady Quinn Fined {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 19th 2009 2:00PM Thanks for being so reasonable in your argument, Jeff. No doubt, this is why you have gotten so far in life and are considered a leader among men. You have a golden tongue, Sir. Thank you for your persuasive argument. I definitely see your point.
Steelers Fan Claims He Was Poisoned, Blinded in Chicago Bar {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 18th 2009 10:25PM All this stupidity over a game. And then there are women who act like fools when wedding dresses go on sale. And both men and women tell children to behave. How can they behave when they have the likes of clowns like these as examples?
Palin photographer breached contract with sale to Newsweek {Daily Finance}
Nov 18th 2009 10:12PM I don't care for Ms. Palin--at all. But that is not what this is about. Newsweek did wrong by publishing this picture of her as not so much sexist as it was out of context. It was a picture of her in running shorts (and, oddly, stockings) and was for a--get this, Newsweek--running magazine for a story on how she kept fit. Sleazy move for the magazine and a sleazy move for Bryan Adams.
Newsweek, fighting for survival, drifts toward irrelevancy {Daily Finance}
Nov 17th 2009 9:39PM I find this woman to be an annoying whiner who hasn't the backbone to take the heat for her own mistakes. (Her interview with Katie Couric is one of the most glaring examples. Since when is being asked what magazines and newspapers you read "gotch journalism?" And given Ms. Palin's educational background--BS in communications and journalism--there is literally no excuse for her lack of preparedness.) HOWEVER, in this case, her criticism is spot in. It was stupid for Newsweek to use her photo from a running magazine promotion for their cover of what was supposed to be a serious news story. How can I possibly consider as unbiased anything they say about her, given the subheading which makes a statement that she is bad news for the GOP rather than asking the question, is she bad news for the GOP and then maybe presenting a position that she may be. So long, Newsweek. I don't care for Ms. Palin, and I will no longer read you.
Judge Shuts Down Joe Jackson, Who Accuses Son's Executors of Fraud {Popeater}
Nov 17th 2009 1:40AM If it wasn't so pathetic I would find it laughable that there are actually some idiots out there who say that this old bastard deserves money from Michael's estate--that his late son "owes" him for his success. I'm guessing that his broken child, who succeeded despite the abuse, has paid that monetary debt many times over. Old Joe is a big boy and should have been more careful with the money received over the decades. In other words, tough.
Lindsay Lohan Has Alleged Meltdown... Over Paying For Drinks {Popeater}
Nov 16th 2009 3:13AM Interesting answer, there, chil621. Is that what straightened you out? Is that what straightened your mother out? I am guessing that you are talking from first hand experience.
Emmy-Winning Writer David Lloyd Dead at 75 {Inside TV Blog}
Nov 13th 2009 8:22PM I nicer remembrance would have been to picture both Mr. Lloyd and Ms. Moore, since it was Lloyd's passing that was being noted. That would have also been better journalism.
