'Genderless' Baby Raises a Storm of Controversy {ParentDish}
May 28th 2011 6:59PM The older siblings can say they have a new BRISTER?? It's sick that a newborn is part of the parents' ideas of experimental child rearing though. I do understand that the world is changing and we are seeing more and more unisex, or ambiguous, teenagers but that's their choice. Please do not impose it on a new baby who is un able to speak out!!
What Your Vet Thinks About Your Pet's Name - And About You {Pawnation}
May 17th 2010 8:26AM There's a white mint candy in UK called Polo so my white cat was named Polo and the ginger tom cat was named Fudge.
Are Pink Toys Bad for Girls? {Lemondrop}
Dec 2nd 2009 7:29AM Hey, I agree with you, 100% on the liberal front < pun intended> They are taking over society with their wishy washy ideas and people are STILL dumb enough to buy into it? I am all for people having rights etc. as I'd hate my own to be infringed upon but to dictate to manufacturers? To dictate to parents? Worse yet the kids think it's an 'easy out' for them and society is left with hardly a leg to stand on!! We have a nation of kids with too many 'entitlement issues' and then parents wonder why little Johnnie or Jennie winds up in the juvenile system?? BAH!!
Nine Surefire Ways to Get Fired {AOL Jobs}
Nov 18th 2009 11:42AM The best way to become a millionaire is to ask 1 million people for a dollar, or sell a silly idea to a smaller number for just a tad more? I saw a documentary on TV in Britain, about con artists. One was particularly audacious. He advertized in a publication called Exchange and Mart, that for five British pounds he would tell people how to get free money. Upon being sent the monies he duly sent the information; the instructions were for them to do exactly as he had done- and good luck to them!!
Readers Get Happy in Less Time Than a 'Dog Whisperer' Episode {Lemondrop}
Jun 15th 2009 10:47AM I heard once that people should go to the mirror and actually look, really look, hard and laugh at themselves! I find a smile does it!! Ask yourself, what can be so unsurmountable? Give thanks to your God. Tons of ways to maintain balance, I accept that some things aggravate me but I cannot do a damn thing about them so I should just smile and get on with it. Incidentally, not many people like to converse with someone who is perpetually miserable!! I most certainly do not tolerate much past offering assistance or cheering someone up a little and they are still miserable? Sorry!!
Mom Gives Birth in Her Pants {ParentDish}

Anti-Addiction Drugs May End Alcoholism As We Know It {Asylum}
Apr 19th 2009 6:06AM I heard a neighbor, a recovering alcoholic, say that denial means; Don't Even Know I Am Lying! Each person who drinks has a different justification, justifications depend on how much spending, reprimanding or self awareness they feel and the lies begin. I believe that when an alcoholic is out of justifications, challenged on behavior, then the violence can begin, I liken it to a cornered rat who will bite.
Boy Becomes Father at 13 - "I Thought It Would Be Good to Have a Baby" {ParentDish}
Feb 16th 2009 5:45AM We love our kids, for ever and ever...no matter what!!
I'd be very dissapointed if one of ours got into that predicament but everything happens for a reason!
Maybe the media will assist? LOL I do not know, I would have been keeping a closer eye on the kids though!! I am not a 'permissive' parent, it's impossible to know where they are at all times and where there's a will there's a way with kids too!!
It's wrong though, they are just babies themselves and this is doing no one any favors!!
An Open Letter to George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States {Blackvoices Main}
Jan 19th 2009 10:16AM Anyone use NETFLIX? There's a British show you can veiw instantly called 'Yes Minister' with hugely exaggerated satire but, you know, no smoke without fire! I wonder if the US has a similar show? House of cards was a good series too, the chief whip in parliament. I am a Brit, now in USA and I chuckle when I watch such shows. There is good and bad in every situation and I believe that we honestly should be thinking mnore positively about our new president. He really does have his work cut out for him!
Couple Arrested for Keeping Bank Error Loot {Asylum}
Jan 16th 2009 6:21AM I reckon it should be classified as a 'windfall' since it was a departmental error on the part of the bank. I would not flee town though!! I would, however, change banks. It's downright illegal and immoral they way the banks charge fees, one day I was charged a total of $57 for the sake of a 57 cent defecit for a debit. I was aware it would be a tight month for me but I thought I had sufficient funds. The bank knew I had money going in and knew the debit was coming out...they reckon it's now 'automated' and their 'discretion' is not what it used to be. I say BOLLOX to banks! They would rob you blind in a heartbeat!!
