Mar 18th 2010 8:19PM I've made my own artisan soaps for years so it was only natural that I progressed to making my own laundry soap. (lemon scented) It works great. I used the scraps from soapmaking, softened in distilled water....viola, instant laundry soap.
I didn't see borax mentioned....it is a great alternative to bleach in the washing machine.
Tea tree oil and lavender oil werent mentioned either....tea tree oil is a great disinfectant. Yes it smells bad but it WORKS. (also great for repelling fleas, ticks, lice or other vermin....they sell tea tree oil shampoo as a natural lice killer)
There are tons of green alternatives! I buy from Majestic Mountain Sage out of Utah (thesage.com) but there are a lot of suppliers. Hope that helps!

Mar 15th 2010 11:29AM The SUGAR industry is being blamed for much of the obesity in America when in fact it is the high fructose CORN SYRUP ect that has really contributed to obesity!
I'm surprised the corn lobby isn't up in arms yet! We know the corn lobby is much more powerful than the sugar lobby.
Since WHEN have you seen a product made with REAL SUGAR and not high fructose corn syrup? Corn syrup is in EVERYTHING!
If you want a REAL Coca Cola (how they used to be made before corn syrup) you have to buy from the Latin section of the supermarket. A lot of kids have never had a REAL Coke!

Feb 15th 2010 8:27AM If you don't/won't/can't lose weight for yourself.....the best thing you could do is make sure the CHILDREN do not become obese.
Statistics show that obese parents generally have obese children which sets them up for a lifetime of hardships, diabetes, heart disease, asthma ect ect.

When I was a child we hit the door the minute the sun came up and didn't come in until the street lights came on. Along with meatless Mondays (as in another aol article) you can go with PS3/Computer free, no tv days......get outside.
Do you know its easier to get a bill passed in Congress than to get your kids to go OUTSIDE these days?
I mean that is SAD!

It might be a toxic relationship that shouldnt be together let alone party together......but I believe she was drunk off her arse and the aggressor, she's as much said so!
