When I was four or five,I can remember a female clerk in a small men's store asking my mother if she was buying the tie for her [handsome] son, the male next to her was my father.[[6 years her senior] My mothers hair was prematurely white, while my dad's was hair was still very black.
It was embarrassing for everyone. I assume that's why I remember the day.
