Whoopie Pie
Is it a cake? Is it a cookie? Is it a pie? That is something on which fans of the New England-born whoopie pie might never agree. But semantics aside, the whoopie pie is nothing short of delicious. Similar to a Hostess Suzy Q, Lil' Debbie Snack Cake (which, like a Wendy's burger, differs in shape from their traditionally round brothers), or a Oreo Cakester, the whoopie pie is basically two pieces of chocolate cake with a creme filling of sorts. The whoopie pie is slowly making it's way across the country, so expect pies to vary from region to region.
