She doesn't stay home because she has no place amazing to be -- no, not at all.

She stays home because her place is the most amazing place to be. And you adore her homebody ways because you always know she'll be there when you stop by.

Ah, and that home -- it's perfection from scent to thread count. She deserves a big old thanks (read: gift) for all those times she let you crash on her couch, drink (all of) her special-occasion wine and take her magazines home. Not to mention all those home-cooked dinners.

Below, some ideas for that cozy nester.

Conran Shop Cleo Tumbler Glasses in Orange, Purple and Turquoise, $6
I believe glasses are like shoes, a girl can never have too many. Some work for fresh OJ early in the morning, others work for wine at dinner and some are ideal with mixed concoctions. These happen to be good for any and all moments of thirst.

I live for the idea of bringing back the good old days with a retro style handset that plugs directly into a mobile device. Obsessed with the fact that of all colors, it's gold. I'm not sure if it could possibly feel any more current-day Valley Of The Dolls, right?

"Big-Ass Book of Crafts," by Mark Montano, $20
This book is absolutely busting with to-do ideas. Not your typical stuff, but seriously over-the-top madness that includes your patio furniture and African masks. I mean your bestie will be doing things you didn't even know was possible without a supporting cast of sweatshop of workers.

Rachel Roy Pakistan Tote Featuring Celebrity Signatures, $20
Forget plastic bags, this gal is all about green living. So when she's running to the store to stock up on drinks and sweets for you my dear, she'll need a reusable tote. 100% of the proceeds of this Rachel Roy one will go to UNICEF's disaster relief and recovery efforts for the victims of the Pakistan floods.

Ikea Small RENS Sheepskin Rug, $25
Not sure entirely how, but a rug like this completes any room. It makes it cozy, bohemian chic and incredibly sexy all at once. Comfortable enough to curl up on and read for hours, unfortunately making it furry Fido's most beloved gift, too.

I'm jealous of the girl that has time to actually make proper dinner night after night. You know who you are. And if you aren't her, help me in congratulating her. To show our gratitude, Ms Betty Crocker has put together 55 different reasons invite your friends to a home-cooked dinner.

When you stay at home more than you go out to party, you need a place for everything. Make your stuff part of your home decor: Little stackable dishes are gorgeous on a shelf alone, or filled with dainty accessories or sea treasures.

I'm not sure exactly when, but at some point in time someone announced that it was quite alright for women to spend their time at home in unflattering sweats. Whoever declared that obviously never put on a sweet little teddy, got wrapped up in a giant cashmere blanket and drank a giant cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows. For all of you who understand what I'm saying, this is the lingerie for you.

I've had crushes on many things before -- men, shoes, the desserts from my 30th birthday party -- but nothing, and I mean nothing, could have prepared me for the lust I feel for this wine opener. If I loved my kitchen, I would be framing this thing on the wall as my newest piece of artwork.

"Golden Girls: 25th Anniversary Complete Collection," $106
Oh sweet Lady of Nesting, aren't you dying to have friends over for a marathon of "Golden Girls"? Think of it now -- everyone snuggled on your couch with a giant tray of sweets. Your television replaying the greatness of those four crazies, your girls rewinding and repeating the greatest lines ever said. Yeah, I thought so. Make sure Santa has this box set on his list, otherwise you could end up with a pencil set.

Diptyque Holiday Box Set 3 Mini Candles, $88
As someone who obsesses over scents, I can honestly say this set of three candles is the best out there. I love burning two or even three at a time to combine the smells, making them my own. They happen to burn for what seems like years and even just a few minutes lit and your whole room is transformed.

Falke Family Knee-High Socks, $24
These socks are beyond heavenly and can actually be quite seductive if, say, an unexpected guest comes knocking. Yes, it's true. Your homebody friend can wear them out and about with cute heels and a skirt or with boots and a girlie dress.

I'm trying to figure out why everyone in the world doesn't own this yet. I'm at a loss. You have TV and movie rentals, your music and photos and so much more all in one place. It's a genius item that fits in the palm of your hand. Your friend will love you forever. Truly.
