So Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are kaput, say the headlines.

Take one very sexy Desperate Housewife and an allegedly roving San Antonio Spur, marry them off, and what do you get? Well, we've had fireworks, a tres fashionable Parisian wedding, and a match that seemed pretty solid for the last three years. Alas, though, for it now looks as though the fierce lust-and-love story behind the marriage of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker could be fizzling out fast.

Eva filed for divorce on Nov. 17, with a boldness and certainty that was no surprise to astrologers. The planets were definitely aligned to give confidence and courage to any and all who were willing to receive it. And Eva, being who she is, was unlikely to miss out on the opportunity to display as much hubris as possible.

She defiantly, and maybe justifiably, put the papers into court. But will this divorce really, truly go through? There are some things about this story, as well as elements of Eva's planet map, or astrology chart, that hint at the possibility of wavering on this big decision some time in the future.

She's a hot, passionate woman who makes snap decisions that leave her -- sometimes after the fact -- with more than a tinge of regret. Even in her public statement, she emphasized the love she still had for her husband, and how she wished things wouldn't have turned out this way. "This way," we're guessing, is her having quite enough of his serial sexting with the wife of another NBA player, who was also (infuriatingly enough) a mutual friend. Eva then acted upon her humiliation and horror by ending her marriage with a big, fat divorce.

Can Eva ever forgive Tony? Should she? How can she? How can any respectable wife understand why this would happen, let alone forgive her husband? Well, for one thing, Eva could be playing the drama card without ever really intending to follow through with the divorce. Already there are rumors of how Tony is begging her to reconcile, and that's not surprising. Born on May 17, Tony is a Taurus, a man who is never going to volunteer to change the status quo. At the same time, Tauruses are pleasure-seekers, and they'll take it from whatever source might present itself (or herself). Eva knows him better than all of us do, and she could simply be trying to get back at him with a dose of the humiliation she feels.

As for the seemingly addictive texting, Taurus flatters easily and could take an innocent flirtation much further than it should go because it just feels good. Millions of guys out there must wonder how Eva alone could possibly not be enough for Tony, but most of them are probably not handsome NBA players born under the sign of Taurus. The proud Bull of the Zodiac thrives on any and all kinds of attention, and probably would be able to make up a justification as to why "sexting" was something that was OK to do, and stick to it -- rather stubbornly!

Tony has, and will probably continue to, deny there was anything but innocent banter between him and this "other woman" (rumored to be former Spur Brent Barry's wife Erin), and Eva will feel devastated and victimized by even the hint that Tony was flirting with her. This reaction is fairly typical of people born under her sign, Pisces. She'll go out to prove to the world how he has done her wrong, and how he should be made to pay for it. Tony's stubborn denial will only make Eva more unhappy, as she realizes he may have no idea how much he's hurting her feelings -- or care that he's embarrassing her in front of a public that digs them both.

The dynamics between just about any couple consisting of a Taurus Guy and a Pisces Girl would work out this way on some level, unless they act out of awareness of who they are as individuals and what they have to offer one another.

In the case of Eva and Tony, a little more consideration as to who they each are would be in order. It's highly likely that Tony would feel overshadowed by Eva's fame in Hollywood. As a Taurus, he wants to stay where he is and be assured his wife will be there whenever he wants her, in every sense of the word. With her busy schedule, she might have missed out on those moments when a sexy text from her could have prevented him from doing anything but flying out to see her or planning out another fabulous vacation for the two of them.

In turn, what might make many women just a little bit jealous and angry has had a devastating effect on Eva. Despite her strength and boldness (due to some planets she has in fiery Aries), Eva's sun is in watery, weepy Pisces. This makes her sensitive to such a degree, most men (particularly a down-to-Earth type like Taurus) would have a tough time tiptoeing around her emotional ups and downs. He might think there's "nothing" to those texts with Erin, but to Eva, this is cheating in the first degree and is unforgivable. Pisces people have very active imaginations, and make judgments according to their personal reactions. Eva probably has quite a vivid image of what must have been in both Erin's and Tony's minds. Chances are her visions are even racier than whatever was described in those texts, and this will only further fuel her fury.

If Eva and Tony want to work this out, they're going to have to talk about this. They may even have to go through the texts and what they say, and at the same time Eva might have to answer to Tony for snooping in his cell phone. In my tragically, hopelessly romantic heart, I hope Eva will see how much Tony needs her attention, and Tony will realize how deeply he has hurt Eva, and make it up to her by reassuring her about her place in his heart and in his life.

Relationships are wonderful, passionate and exciting, but the ones that make it through the long haul succeed because the two people involved put in a lot of hard work, and love. If these two decide to make a go of it, they too can achieve happiness, and lots of it. Tony's earthy Taurus energy gives Eva some kind of anchor to ground upon, and Eva's Pisces imagination and spirit can give Tony pleasure he hasn't even begun to think about. Maybe they should go back to that moment when it was "lust at first sight," go to bed together and see what happens after that. Although Eva picked a forceful day for her filing, there could still be a chance that the divorce papers will be shredded when all is said and done. As for Tony, he's got a lot of "'splainin'" to do!
