It looks like Sarah Palin has found her true calling: reality television. Nearly 5 million people caught the premiere of "Sarah Palin's Alaska," making it the number one debut in TLC history. While it comes as a bit of a surprise that so many people would tune in for Palin, the success of Speidi and Jon and Kate suggest that we as Americans do have an affinity for train-wreck reality TV. Shows what you know...no morals...no education? If you had any education you'd know the truth. Fact is whether you like her or not, being a political person or just a woman....the view of Alaska is breath taking.
I think people need to take a step back, educate themselves then take another look. Humans are such cows, just following the herd. MOOO.

Exactly what are you talking about? Honestly I doubt any you even LIVE in Alaska.
Deciding to have a tv show does not mean she has done ANYTHING wrong; -and if having your own top of the line reality show on TLC that went into over 4 MILLION homes on the FIRST air day means that you're low class...then I wonder what class all of YOU people would be in.
Sarah Palin has been attacked and falsely accused ever since she became a household name. If you even cared to look at the first episode, she openly told the world about networks who LITERALLY sent people to live as her neighbors just so that they could FIND something to badmouth her about. These people would diss Sarah Palin if they saw her young child sneak a cookie from the cookie jar. You cannot -with good sense- take up everything they say about her as truth.
-and I will be watching the show this coming Sat. with joy. (and BTW -by the way- TLC reported that her first show was watched in over 4 MILLION homes; which means millions more actually watched it. Take a look, the show is actually very entertaining not just informal) ;]

Well said...I concur and enjoyed the first episode. Alaska is beautiful and people who live in the 'lower 48' have no clue what it's like to live there.

I watched it and it was so hilarious, her making fun of everything and making a mistake every minute. SHE's a regular comedianne? BUT, I don't think she was trying to be. SHE just naturally is? SHE act's like she never seen ALASKA before is this her first time seeing the STATE ? cause it showed like it was??? I wouldn't waste my time watching again. SHE's not worth it!

This country has too many idiots, who criticize anyone who refuses to stay down on their level. Sarah Palin is real, honest, and forthright. She doesn't change herself for anyone, even to win their vote. She ignores their uneducated remarks without a nod in their direction. That only infuriates them more because being ignored is worse than validating their existence by responding to their slurs. We as a nation are starved for a real person, not some formally educated, pious empty suit. Sarah's political fault seems to be that she is a person with a deep love of this country, and it's traditions, and wants to rid our government of corruption. Unfortunately for her, she is breath-takingly beautiful, happily married, uses logic and common sense and, oh yes, she refused to end the life of her baby who was less than perfect in the eyes of many. She shows great courage, dedication and stamina. She displays a sense of humor and does not talk down to her audience, or "preach" to them, as our current president does. Her untold story is a true "rags to riches" tale.
We would be blessed to have her guard and guide this great nation. Our misfortune is that the media has dragged 'those who love to hate' down into the muck of characterization assassination with them. Some people see what they want to see; apparently the media wants to see fault in a person who has few faults but great strength of character, morals, and integrity. That is a loss for all of us and our nation.
