If your typical Tuesday night consists of a full-on ex-boyfriend-stalking session, tonight is going to be extra special. Remember Facebook's old "wall-to-wall" function? It was recently cut in favor of a new "see friendship" option. Now, on top of wall-post exchanges, you can see events two people have attended, photos they're both tagged in, their mutual friends, etc. And the most dangerous part? You can do this friendship analysis with any two people you're friends with. Tell us: Is the new 'See Friendship' feature on Facebook awesome? Creepy? A little bit of both?

I didn't think of it as stalkery until I saw this post but I suppose it can be viewed that way. I didn't realize you could "see the friendship" of people other than your own friends. I like the feature for myself - looking at my friendship pages with different people, I'm reminded of things we've done together, events we attended and photos buried deep in the mounds of facebook albums I've uploaded or been tagged in.
Will I check out other people's friendships now that I know I can though? Probably. Hence the "stalkeryness" of it all.

Eventually, I figure that Facebook will be just so overwhelmingly creepy that it will take all the fun out of being a creeper because it'll be too easy. At which point, I guess the problems solved, though I suspect it'll be at the cost of privacy and dignity.

I don't see what the big deal is. People have always been able to see that information on your profiles before. Granted, it's all pooled together, but that's the price you pay for not locking down your profile pretty tight. Don't want people to see the 5 W's of your life? Set your privacy levels pretty high...
