Feeling busier than ever as you try to juggle your career, social engagements, family life and friendships? Then you're probably around 33 years old. According to the Daily Mail, a new survey has pinpointed 33 as the age when we struggle most to balance all of the different aspects of our lives and to cram as much as we can into each day. For a third of the 33-year-old women surveyed, this boils down to an average of five hours' sleep a night, and over 38 hours a week in the office for another two-thirds.
With their schedules so jam-packed, the average 33-year-old only gets an hour a day to do something she enjoys, while one in five don't have time to socialize at all.
The bright side? Um, there isn't one, really. According to the survey, things don't start to improve until we're 55, and even then we still spend an average of 30 hours a week in the office and have less than an hour and a half a day to pursue what we love. Hey, makes sense. Jesus seemed pretty busy.

Besides Jesus being 33 when he died, what does he have to do with how busy women are at age 33? Jennifer Barton, author of this article, must have been grasping at straws to have chosen the closing statement that she did.

I agree. Is she saying Jesus was a woman? This constitutes an article?? It's 4 paragraphs and at least two of them were copied from the original Daily Mail survey it's based on. Nice work if you can get it.

I thought at first it said "bustiest." That's also a good question.

My wife is 32 and Id say she is about the busiest person Ive ever seen. Its 6:13 pm and shes not home yet,she got off work at 5.She joins every thing in town ,every org she can find and she has 1000 friends that call endlessly. Most women have kids getting bigger by 33 and the kids play sports so they run them her and there so this story is correct in my mind.......

I'm almost 53, married and have a 12 year old son. With work, resently enrolled back in school for my BA, running around with my son to ice hockey practice 3 nights a week, and sometimes 2 games out of town on the weekend and then its the PTA meetings and going to the gym once a week, housework, grocery shopping, laundry.............did I forget to mention that I'm almost 53?!!
Pahleeeeeeeeeaze, I was no where as busy at 33 than I am now.

I'm busier now at age 45. My husband has been diagnosed with diabetes -- so I have to keep up with his meds and special diets, my mother-in-law's husband divorced her and I help with the things she can't do - like yard work/mowing, my father passed away last September and my Mom is getting forgetfull (Alzheimer's), so I clean her home/do her laundry/cook her meals/ mow her grass/etc..every week, and my son always needs something (he's military, overseas) - whether it's legwork back home, advice, or a few extra $ until payday. Most days I don't know if I'm coming or going. I'm so bust seeing to everyone else's needs and making sure things run smoothly, that I usually don't remember going to bed at night! Still...I manage to grasp every free minute that I can and *make* time for myself, even if it's just 10 minutes. I figure that what I don't get done today will still be there tomorrow........

I think it totally depends on the age you are when you have kids. If you have already had 4 kids by age 33, then that may be the busiest time of your life. As for me and ALL my friends, this frenetic, crazy busy time did not arrive until the early 40s. I would hate to think that it lasts until 55!!!!
