Think there could never be an arm wrestling story with more heart than "Over the Top"? Think again. Molly DeJohn is just 14 years old and hopes to become the next arm wrestling world champion -- and she needs your help.Molly's been competing on the arm wrestling circuit since the age of 7, and now, thanks to numerous state championship titles, she's earned the chance to represent the U.S. in arm wrestling's biggest tournament.
There's only one problem: Molly's dad was laid off and is on unemployment, so her family can't afford to pay for her trip to Las Vegas to compete. Now Molly is trying to raise money by selling candy bars to pay for her trip. Her family has also set up a fund sanctioned by the U.S. Arm Wrestling Federation to help raise money for her.
If the idea of a tiny, 120-pound 14-year-old girl defeating a bunch of intimidating old arm wrestling pros tickles your fancy, details of where to send money can be found here.

FYI, you'd be shocked by how many people breaks their arms doing this. Your bicep and tricep create torque on your humerous bone. YouTube is filled with videos of it happening, which I only discovered after I saw it happen to someone I know. I really hope she doesn't get injured.

This crap isn't arm wrestling! These "arm wrestlers" lean their whole bodies forward againt each other! Heck, why don't they just WRESTLE, then? I arm wrestle HONESTLY and would be glad to show this girl how its REALLY done!

Hello,
This is molly ! Arm wrestling is a sport of technique, Nate you must have about 3 inches between your body and your arm .... your hand when competing can not touch your body!! so when you say that this sport is just like wrestling it is not !! you must hold on to the peg, you must keep your elbow on the peg.... There are many techniques to this sport like I said. Yes you do put your whole body into this sport but you do not lay on your arm at all!! And if you would like to show all of us arm wrestlers up !! come and join a competition and see what its really like, I'm sure there's one in your area if you would just look !
thank you and have a great day,
Mollyanne DeJohn
