So, Beyoncé's pregnant, says US Weekly, and luckily New York City just released its Top Baby Names of 2009.Of course, when Hov sang a valentine to the city that became a chart-topper, timing like that can be arranged. And if the rumors are true, B & Z may soon be adding a brand-new baby to the city that can "make you feel brand new" -- though apparently B's pregnancy wasn't planned.
But once everybody gets over the news -- and House of Dereon announces it will now be doing urban-fab baby clothes (move over, Crewcuts) -- speculation will begin on what to name the likely musical prodigy. We're so on that.
In 2009 the top names for babies born to black, non-Hispanic mothers in New York were:
Girls' Names:
1. Madison
2. Kaylah
3. Nevaeh
4. Jada
5. Malia
Boys' Names:
1. Jayden
2. Joshua
3. Elijah
4. Justin
5. Michael
Here's what NOT to name a baby in 2010 (because everybody else will be).
What do you think an amalgamation of Beyoncé and Jay-Z should be called?

With all due respect, Miss Sloan, the only thing I gleaned from this story is that you're an idiot! Why is Jay Z being referred to as her baby daddy and not rightfully as her HUSBAND, is it because they are African American? Get a grip, with your tired writing style and/or please go to an accredited university and enroll in journalism classes.
