Ballerina to go: German girl invents vending machine that sells flatsIf you're like us, you may have worried that, with the advent of the EZ Cracker and the Slap Chop, all the genius ideas had already been invented.

But a German girl has come up with one that is actually useful -- a vending machine that sells ballet flats.

After hours of awkwardly hopping from one leg to another in a state of drunken bliss at a nightclub, you might not want to try to make your way home perched atop your 4-inch heels. Neither did Isabella Fendt.

Her brainchild -- born of a few too many nights of clubbing -- is Ballerina to Go, a convenient machine that sells cheap ballet flats -- in silver, gold, violet, or black -- for about 10 bucks a pop.

Currently four of the machines are installed in clubs around Munich, but this is one German export we'd welcome stateside, and soon! Watch some German girls at a club give them a test run below (in German, natch). Don't your feet feel better already?
