are banks open on columbus dayAre banks open on Columbus Day (today)? No. Schools? Those are closed, too. But do you still have to go to work? Probably*. According to this article, only 9 percent of the workforce gets the holiday off. (Yes, we know the article's old, but we doubt this stat has changed much. If you have something more recent, let us know.)
