Look, we like technology as much as the next girl, but sometimes it's much nicer if a guy says he loves you in person and not, you know, via Gchat.A new survey has found that one out of 10 couples communicates via email or phone more often than in person, with one in five people only speaking to their loved one for 15 minutes a day.
The average couple spends three hours and 45 minutes together during the week, with 51 minutes of that time spent not talking. (No surprise then, that 28 percent of those polled said they found it irritating when their other half texted or emailed in their presence.) We're really hoping that most of these couples were in new relationships and not, you know, co-habitating in icy silence.
People blamed their excessive workloads on the breakdown in face-to-face communication with their significant others. But a sweet 13 percent said they kept up with their partner's day-to-day activities via Facebook stalking. To us, nothing says "I love you" better than when a guy references a Lil Wayne joke you made on your Twitter after he ignored you all day.
Speaking of technological no-nos: Here's one common thing you do with your laptop that can hurt your health.
