The Supremes may have put out the original version of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" in 1966, but it was U.K. singer Kim Wilde's cover 20 year later that had us dancing in our leg warmers and off-the-shoulder tees. Wilde's 1982 song, "Kids in America" made not only became a youth anthem in the '80s but a cover version by the Muffs was featured in 1995's "Clueless."
