We can't stress enough the importance of properly accessorizing. For example, if Bethany Storro hadn't felt the need to go out and get a pair of cute sunglasses, she could be blind at this very moment.Bethany, 28, was getting something out of her car outside of a Starbucks in Vancouver, Washington, just north of Portland, when she heard a voice behind her say, "Hey, pretty little girl, want to take a drink of this?"
After that the woman posing the question threw a cup of acid-like liquid in Bethany's face. The acid was strong enough that it made parts of Bethany's shirt actually disintegrate, and left second-degree burns all over her face. Doctors say Bethany might be blind now, if not for the shades she had purchased on a whim just 20 minutes before the attack.
The attack was a random act of violence performed by a woman whom Bethany had never seen before. She remains on the loose. Fortunately, Bethany is expected to make a full recovery, and she hopes to eventually forgive the woman who did this to her, saying not to would make her life much harder.
We'll definitely be wearing our shades beyond Labor Day.

There is a show called "Issues" on tonight that is supposed to expose more about this story, and it's not going to be pretty. Issues is on every night and they do a good job doing stories to help protect women.

This girl is not a "Super Woman". She threw the acid on to her own face.
