We'll admit it -- long before we knew that Steelers safety Troy Polamalu's hair was insured for a million bucks, we were certified Polamalunatics. (Hi, have you seen his butt?)

The Head and Shoulders spokesman reportedly hasn't cut his glorious spirals in years, allegedly as a tribute to his Samoan heritage and, um, samurais. (He told People, "It's correlated to what a warrior in the past would do to prepare for war. You have the Mongolians, the Japanese samurai, the Spartans -- all of these warriors with long hair.")

Thus, we present to you some Great Moments in Polamalu Hair. Despite some naysayers claims that letting it run wild creates a silky, majestic shortcut for getting sacked (HATERS), we disagree.
