Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, quarter pounder, French fries, icey Coke -- are you
singing along yet? While we're all familiar with the generic stable of McDonald's menu items, we continue to be amazed by the crazy stuff you can get at a McDonald's overseas. In fact, we might have to move to Germany. In Deutschland, you can order a beer with your double cheeseburger. (Hello, snack attack!) We asked the experts over at the
Medical Insurance site to lay out all our options. After all, eat too much of this stuff and your doctor -- and belly -- isn't going to be pleased.

You mention the McPizza but McDonalds in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada sold for several months regular pizza, the flat disc kind.

We have of course Beer at all fast food restaurants in Germany, but at our McDonalds in Munich we also have Schnitzel Nuggets (Flat, Breaded Pork) and the Nurnburger, which is 3 small bratwursts on a bun with mustard.

I live a stone's throw from a McDonald's where I could, right this very minute, go get a McLobster. It's regional (Maritimes only) and seasonal (certain time in the summer when lobster's cheaper), but it does so exist. You just need to interact with people from provinces/territories/regions other than your own every once in a while.

Maybe you're not on the east coast. They have lobster rolls in Quebec and also pizza at the McD's there, or used to have pizza too. Just plain ol pizza.

This is kinda confusing. Lots of McDonald's facts but clicking on it takes me to some insurance spam site? Is this an advertisement?

This is weak. How about spinach pies or corn pies in Thailand? Or how about corn on top of your ice cream? This barely scratches the surface of strange stuff McD's sells around the world.

In Greece, the sell the GreekMac, which contains two burger patties on pita bread with tahziki sauce... strangely, the Greeks seemed to prefer the regular big mac.

We have the Southern Chicken sandwich down here in the south! :9
btw, I heard of the McLobster thing but we don't have it that far south either. I'm not complaining though. I thought McDonalds used to sell hot dogs in England.

In the frozen tundra of harbin china I had a purple bean pie instead of a apple pie :) and a grilled chicken sandwich cooked " Japanese Teppan Steak flavor , it was a black soy based sauce " with a condiment sauce that resembled chipotle sauce , carrot , red cabbage and lettuce . as in "let us pray for the chinese" !
