Lots of little girls dream of the perfect fairy-tale wedding, but what about the geeky kids who would rather be superheroes than Cinderella?

They can take inspiration from the British couple from Devon, Neil and Sharon Vaughan, who tied the knot in a cosplay wedding ceremony that would have made the crowd at Comic-Con proud. The groom dressed as Batman while the bride donned Wonder Woman's red corset top, blue hotpants and signature red boots.

Robin and the Joker were also on hand as best man and master of ceremonies, while Sharon's bridesmaids were dressed as the Powerpuff girls. Among the other guests were Iron Man, Superman, the Incredibles, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk and Yoda.

"We are not particularly traditional and we wanted to have a fun day with our friends, so I suggested we have a themed wedding," Neil told the Daily Mail.

An added bonus of the wacky ceremony? The bride's get-up only cost $160 and the groom's was $285. Which must have meant there was plenty of cash left over to rent the Batmobile to drive them off to their honeymoon in Gotham City.
