Princeton scientists found that sexually active rodents experienced an increase in brain volume -- along with a decrease in anxiety -- as compared with their non-sexy rat pals. Rats who were virgins experienced elevated levels of stress hormones, and it's thought that high levels of stress stifle brain growth and prevent the increase in the number of connections between brain cells.
