No matter how old we get, the sound of the ice cream truck is still music to our ears (unless it's parked on the corner outside our apartment. Then our opinion completely changes). The delicious dessert (or dinner, if you're us), was invented by the Greeks, perfected by the Italians, and gluttonously consumed by us Americans. In celebration of the Dog Days of August, here's a look at a brief history of ice cream from our friends at the Medical Insurance site who want to remind us.

Not to attack you personally, but it's getting pretty annoying how every "article" like this (origins of something) is so biased.
Icecream was there long before America even existed, and you should respect history and portray the full story.
Not downplay the rest of the world.
This is one of the things why everyone hates America, you act like you guys are the greatest country in the world, invented everything, and so on.
