[Editor's Note: We all have a pile of scarves and hair thing-a-ma-dos, but we aren't really sure how to wear them creatively. So, when we saw Jessica wearing this cute, Turban-style wrap on her blog, we asked her to give us a tutorial.]If you're looking for a way to beat the record-breaking summer heat (or hide a bad hair day), add an accessory to your outfit: A turban-style headband might be just the right fix for you. It's especially great because the scarf you choose and the way in which you style your hair can have drastically different effects.
Retro Revival -- Pair a delicate scarf with a low ponytail and movie-star shades for a vintage-inspired variation.
Keep It Casual -- by choosing a simple ombre scarf and wearing it with your hair down.
Go Eclectic -- by mismatching your scarf from the rest of your outfit and styling your hair into a high, messy bun.Are there looks that you want to learn how to do? Scarf styles you're trying to tie? What can Jessica teach you about fashion? Leave notes in the comments! Or, even better -- if you have a specific outfit you're looking for advice on (say, how to accessorize that new dress, or whether an outfit is a great first-date choice), email us a photo -- just click here!

I've been waiting for this - yay! What do you do with the tails when you want to sport that look - just tuck them in? Or do you use a shorter scarf?

I just let the tails out, but they can be tucked under pretty easily too (and will stick better if you use a cotton scarf!)

Hey Jessica, this is great! Just went and tried it with all my headscarves that have had nothing to do for a few years! hehe. Looks great :) Mine are mostly silky, they seem to have a tendancy to pop off my head though which is a shame

Sophie - try using a couple of bobby pins (behind your ears, from the back of the scarf towards the front)
