Usually those movie scenes where actresses keep their bras on during sex wildly infuriate us (who DOES that?) but it turns out that they may be accurate for some people. A new survey reported that 48 percent of all women like to keep at least one garment on during sex, with most preferring to wear a bra.

In addition, 61 percent of women prefer to have sex in the dark. Unsurprisingly, over half the women surveyed explained the reason behind this was to improve body confidence.

Also unsurprisingly, the boys aren't thrilled about it at all. Only 36 percent said they'd prefer it if a partner kept an item of clothing on while doing the nasty, and they'd prefer a negligee (Although we're pretty sure thigh-high boots and pasties would make the cut as well.) And only 37 percent of men prefer sex with the lights off.

We don't really get the phenomenon of non-actors having no-nudity clauses, but we do know those "lights off"–type girls. We'd like to offer our own personal fix for the body-insecurity issue -- it's called "have four glasses of wine and hope for the best."
