There are so many things that can go wrong when you're having a baby, but popping out a kid that's an entirely different color isn't usually something parents are worried about. Certainly Angela and Ben Ihegboro weren't.

The couple, who reside in London, but hail from Nigeria, went into the hospital to have a baby, and out came little Nmachi. Except, unlike her parents, Nmachi had blond hair and blue eyes -- and was white.

"The first thing I said was, 'What the flip?'" the New York Post quoted Ben as saying. (Quote of the year, Ben!)

After some initial confusion, doctors have narrowed down how this has happened to three possibilities: Both parents might have long-dormant white genes floating around somewhere in their system (that's how genes work, right?), Nmachi might have a mutated version of albinism, or she might just be the result of a genetic mutation unique to her, which means her children would also be white.

All that really matters though is that she's healthy and happy. Video after the jump.
