Think C++ is a better-than-average report card grade? It's OK -- you can still make customized apps for your phone. The crazy kids at Google recently unveiled App Inventor, software that allows anyone -- namely the, um, tech-challenged -- to make their own apps without coding know-how. Want to be able to find your car with your phone in a crowded mall parking lot? Want your cell to alert you when you are within 50 feet of an Orange Julius? Just want to make stuff on your phone change color? You can! The App Inventor works kinda like a blog template -- when you're happy with your app, you download it onto your phone. Of course, if you're a Serious Programmer Type Girl, then this probably just irritates you. Either way: Orange Julius app. (bit-tech)
