Oh, WeTV! Where would we be without your miniaturizing every aspect of our relationships, engagements and weddings? Case in point: Their show "Put a Ring On It" helps apparently clueless boyfriends figure out how to propose to their girlfriends. In this special episode of PAROI, BF Michael wants to disrupt the space-time continuum in order to ask his girlfriend Nadia to marry him. OK, sure, because chicks dig a man who can stop time. He and a team of totally unnecessary "experts" help him pull it off in a very unromantic German beer garden.
That's great and all -- but we couldn't take our eyes off the distractingly large box of tissues on Michael's coffee table. What is THAT about, boyfriend? Enjoy!

I thought women hated nerds. I should know, I am a 31 year old nerd and women don't pay any attention to me. This chick must be desperate. Either way, she's getting the short end of the stick. She's defying the natural order of things by not getting herself an athletic hunk like all women should. No wonder weak links still exist out there...

I'm going to say the reason why women don't pay attention to you is because you're a bit of a nob. Calling a woman desperate because she's fallen in love? W-O-W.

What a tender proposal. How thoughtful Michael was to pull this off for Nadia to remember this for the rest of their lives. Thanks for sharing. It made me cry. And I thought, wow, I sure hope my daughter gets a proposal as dear as this one when it comes to be her turn. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice idea for a tv show. Not sure why the review is so harsh. Is it so bad a guy might want a little help to do things the right way when proposing and possibly in a way that wasn't otherwise doable? Julie, you should go pick on other shows that feature random people doing absolutely nothing (Jersey? Hills? City?...)

please explain what makes the guy a "nerd"? his proposal idea is romantic and creative. I wish my boyfriend would come even close to thinking of something like this for my own proposal.

I'm a straight guy and even I thought it was kinda cute. Don't know why the Author thought it was so corny unless she's still single.

This Julie Gerstein certainly seems to be a real KILLJOY based on her absolutely despicable review of one of the most romantic proposals I think I've ever seen!
Should I be as lucky as that guy to get the woman of my dreams, I'd certainly love to be able to even come CLOSE to thinking up something HALF that cool and romantic... What's next? A TIME MACHINE?!?

Really??? This was an awesome video! I have watched it at least 10 times. It was so well done! Even my husband loved it and he only watches sports. We need more shows like this. And NERD? REALLY?? I thought he was extremely handsome and the fact he wanted to make his proposal special and memorable is so refreshing in a world where marriage is taken too lightly. I want to see more creative ways for couples to begin their marriage.

Jealous much?
The entire article ranted off like a 10th grader jealous that something amazing happened to someone else and that she would have no shot in hell of ever getting into a similar situation.
keep on drinking the hatorade it'll make you seem more attractive as you continue to get older and depreciate in value.

Seriously?! This was no way near nerdy - it was sincere, romantic and amazing!! Why is it that guys who actually try to do something romantic or unique are automatically deemed nerdy?? Lots of woman would appreciate the effort gone into this unique proposal!
