Super-creative (and resourceful) artist Richard Shilling takes the inherent beauty of nature to a whole new level with his Land Art. All of his works are made from natural materials found close to where the actual project is created, and many of them last no more than a few moments before nature washes or gusts them away. Below and after the jump are some of our favorites ... and yes, we swear, all natural materials.

A sunwheel, made from leaves and dogwood and held together with thorns.

A sycamore square made of autumn leaves, pinned down with thorns.

Yep, really just leaves -- autumn copper beech leaves, to be more specific.

Rhododendron leaves pinned together with thorns to make a sun star.

Rowan berry fade/demonstration of ripening process.
