Here's one couple that will have an easier time growing old together -- they've already seen one another in diapers. Amy Singley and Steven Smith of Fountain Hill, Penn., plan to marry on June 12, 24 years after their mothers shared a room in the maternity ward where they gave birth on the very same day.
The very premature matchmaking was set in motion when Amy and Steven's mothers became friends. After their arrivals, the two families stayed in contact through their church, and when the two were sophomores in high school, Steven asked Amy out for a date. She said yes, and says now that she knew after their second date that Steven was the guy she wanted to spend her life with.
This might mark the one time the judgment of a 15-year-old girl was actually spot on! Congrats, Amy and Steven. This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful

A friend of mine since 7th grade (Stephen) married one of my college room mates (Deb) .... they were both born May 6, 1959 at the same hosptial in Providence, RI. Their moms were not room mates, and they did not grow up together. They met at URI; they had a class together. Same birth date; two completely different people!

My husband and I were born in the same hospital 2 days apart - met freshman year in high school, started dating senior year and have been happily married now for 37 years! Guess it was fate!

My mom and her first husband were born on the same day in the same hospital room in 1964. She said if people saw their ID's they mistook them for twins, not a married couple.

We just celebrated our 41 st anniversary. We were married on June 8, 1969 or 6/8/69. We met when I was cutting grass for her best friends' father when she was 10 and I was 11 but we did not start dating until we were in our senior year in high school. We married the following year. It has been an interesting ride for all of these years.

My husband was born May 3rd, 1978 and I was born May 4th 1978 in the same hospital. We were in the same nursery. We met in middle school and dated off and on until we were married nine years ago. Nine years and three kids later we're still going strong!

My parents were born on the same day, same month, same year, between the same hour and less than 100 miles apart. October 9,1929. Both are still alive and doing well at age 80, still not knowing which one was actually born first.

That's really cool . . . .glad to hear some good things in the news rather than all the negative. Many happy blessings to the couple!

I was born in a small Texas hospital, and three of my classmates were also born over a three day span, and we were all together in the nursery. But, none of us wound up together!

Hey shushu 231,
Perhaps if you tried being less obnoxious and more truthful you might find a girl. A doctor that has all this time to post comments on AOL, yeah right! Us girls are not that stupid. Take a hint, we are tired of your never ending rambling about how hot and fabulous you are. Get a life and get off this site!

WOW. I was born Jan. 31st and my wife was born Dec. 31st, what a coincidence! Both of us born on the 31st ! I was born in AZ and my wife was born in AR....WOW another coincidence, both states started with an "A"! And we have BOTH been married since 1979...ANOTHER coincidence.
Take it from me..... having coincidences don't make a marriage: it takes sacrifice AND understanding from BOTH sides. Alot of times there is tongue biting involved ( not the face sucking kind)! We'll celebrate our 31st this year ( another coincidence?).
Cute story but hardly news worthy.
