"I'm in business school to get me my M-R-S ..."

Three Columbia Business School "single ladies" hit the "it's funny because it's true" nail on the head with this mock on Beyoncé's original tune. Their premise? That the decades-old M-R-S degree joke (that the most valuable thing a girl can get out of a college degree is a ring) lives on in full effect, and these days those who don't complete that "degree" in undergrad give it a second try in B-school -- a smorgasbord of potential husbands.

The first time you watch it it's funny. Then watch it again, and you may find your giggles turn to cringes. The performance is by three black-leotard-clad members of the CBS Follies, a song-and-dance troupe on campus, and it's supposed to be a satirical send-up -- or is it? Watch and see for yourself after the jump as they shimmy to lyrics like these:

I'm in business school to get me my M-R-S
The returns on a marriage are worth the debt
Findin' a man in the markets' not happened yet
So I'm gonna' find my hubby at CBS
