spike your juiceWhen the "Spike Your Juice" sent us their at-home wine fermentation kit, we thought one thing -- it's time to get all Mr. Wizard on your ass. We picked up five different kinds of juice and turned our office into a high-tech winery. We're like Lucy and Ethel, only we're using SCIENCE instead of our FEET.

The directions say the "wine" is ready to start tasting after 48 hours -- but the longer you wait, the dryer the taste and the higher the alcohol content. So we're going to set it and forget it over the weekend and begin tasting Monday. But we need your help! These vinos need names. So after the jump, give us your input.

Step 1: Prepare.

Step 2:
Add the fermenting packet (it's yeast).

Step 3: Seal with provided Airlock seal. We're not sure we did this right, but only time will tell.

Now we set it and forget it until Monday morning. In the meantime, leave your suggestions for the name of each flavor in the comments below, or on our Facebook page:

Ocean Spray Cran-Cherry

Similar to a good but wicked Rose. Forcefully bites you with fig, underdone chutney and forceful wild berry. Drink now through 2006.
Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry

Overdressed and putrid red. Spews beef, unripe herbs and corpulent dirt. Drink now through eternity.
Ocean Spray White Cranberry Peach

Elegant but fleshy white. Spews bing-cherry, supple bourbon and lingering prune juice. Drink now through eternity.
Ocean Spray Cran-Pomegranate

Like an egocentric but equally supple Syrah. Essences of tea notes, whimsical dirt and total absence of earth. Drink now through 2010.
Welch's Grape

Tightly woven and over-ripe red. Essences of loganberry, over-the-top blueberry and strong-willed toast. Drink now through Tuesday.
