We're totally over vampires (sorry, Rob Pattinson), and we've moved on ... to mummies. In "Mummy," by Lizzy Caplan, we experience the ultimate in forbidden love: a "fleshy" live man and an undead mummy lady.

Our mummy heroine is caught in a loveless (and bloodless) romance, until she meets David. From there, their romance faces the typical rom-com tropes, made all the more complicated by mummy lady's undead friends not understanding what she sees in a man with blood still coursing through his veins.

Finally, a rom-com that says what we ladies have all been waiting to hear: "I don't care if you're rotten, dry and slow ... I love you." (Warning -- sliiiiightly NSFW.) Enjoy!
