Or, ogle cute men whose passion in life is saving the planet! That's right, when the 40th anniversary of this green holiday rolled around, we decided it was time to honor 10 guys who are easy on the eyes but have far more going on in their souls. Also known as: Do Gooders We'd Do.
They range from the born again, like Scott Harrison, a former club promoter now trying to bring clean water to all seven continents, to new converts, like Tim Devane, 23, who really, really wants you to visit a rainforest with him. These everyday superheroes are also fighting cancer, stopping human trafficking and crusading for peace in the Middle East. Not to objectify them, but they look damn fine doing it. And what could possibly be better than a hot guy with a heart of gold?
Read on to hear all about their personal causes -- plus, their Save the Earth tips. Then sidle on over to meet 10 Superwomen Saving the World. We guarantee they'll inspire you, too.

10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Chris Dumas, 25
Claim to Eco-Fame: The Tech-Savvy Savior
"I thrive on helping non-profits manage their donors so they can make smarter decisions," says Dumas. In other words, as co-founder at Donor Tools, a site that helps charities manage donations by providing free user-friendly donor-management software, he ensures execs can put their energy toward helping more people‹instead of logging time doing data entry. Now that's do-gooding if we ever heard it.
His Save The Earth Tip: "Don't wait for someone else to make this world a better place. Every time I do a trade show or community event, I try to connect with the people who are there and take action instead of waiting for someone else to do it for me."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Mike Lieberman, 30
Claim to Eco-Fame: The Constant Gardner
Through his websites, including Simply Raw Recipes and Urban Organic Gardener, Lieberman shows that living green doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing thing. He gives readers step-by-step guides to growing organic vegetables on a fire escape and actionable steps to becoming earth-friendly. "People are curious about living an eco life but don't want to invest tons of money to do it. My websites provide a resource." Including yummy recipes like this one, for Mike's famous Mushroom Avocado Burger.
His Save The Earth Tip: "Grow a vegetable in your garden. This simple act will help connect you to your food and appreciate it. On average, food travels 1,500 miles to get to our plates. This is a little action that adds up."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Tim Devane, 23
Claim To Eco-Fame: The Rainforest Host
Devane started Birthright Earth with the premise that in order to save the rainforests, you have to experience them‹for free and up close. "Our belief is 'See It 2 Save it.' We think this direct exposure will be a stepping stone to taking an environmental stance -- whatever our participants do later in life," says Tim. Sign up for a Birthright Earth trip and you¹ll join 20 other travelers, ages 18 to 26, on a hands-on journey, during which you'll interact with indigenous communities, come face-to-face with local wildlife and learn from researchers.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "Saving the earth isn¹t just about picketing. Green has to leave the fringe to become mainstream."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Rami Qubain, 28
Claim to Eco-Fame: Bringing peace to the Middle East
At 15, Qubain traveled from his home in Amman, Jordan, to Maine where he spent the summer at Seeds of Peace camp. Today, he serves as a Seeds of Peace volunteer and a very active member of the organization's Junior Board. He¹s also on the board of the American MidEast Leadership Network, which -- among other things -- sponsors an annual exchange trip to Syria, during which Americans travel to Damascus, and beyond, then return to the U.S. with their Syrian hosts. "The best way to change the world is through education," he says.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "For peace to occur in the Middle East, students need to live in the region, see it firsthand and understand it."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Matt Sirolly, 34
Claim to Eco-Fame: Fighting for fair wages
As co-founder of The Wage Justice Center, Sirolly pushes daily for greater economic equality for California¹s working poor, including collecting unpaid wages from exploitative employers. In less than three years, the organization has collected more than $560,000 in wages and penalties owed to low-income workers and has been giving technical training to community groups like the CLEAN Carwash Campaign. The organization's next goal: Educating low-income workers and organizers and promoting policy reform.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "We need to change attitudes among both workers and employers. We need to recognize the need to treat everybody with dignity, equality and fairness and recognize the value of their work -- every worker contributes to our economy."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Michael Cory Davis, 32
Claim to Eco-Fame: Ending human trafficking
When Davis, an actor, writer and producer, traveled to Bulgaria in 2003 for a film shoot, he attended an event calling attention to the exploitation of Bulgarian girls and women. Back in the U.S., he wrote and directed "Svetlana's Journey," a film about sex trafficking. Last year he launched Artists United for Social Justice, a non-profit that uses multimedia platforms to educate people on human rights issues. To date, AUSJ has raised tens of thousands of dollars for orphanages, and Davis has gone on to create Cargo: Innocence Lost "Cargo: Innocence Lost," another award-winning film.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "Keep an open mind. This will create a collective dialogue about all the things we can do to make a difference."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Dave Boyer, 39
Claim to Eco-Fame: Helping teens help others
When Boyer founded Ways To Help, he fulfilled his dream of motivating teens to volunteer. "I taught Junior Achievement at the public schools in Chicago," he says. "I'd ask the kids what they'd do if they could help people. They wanted to help but didn't know where to start." His site features free videos about pressing issues, tips for teens to make a difference, and volunteering opportunities. Teens can also access free downloadable toolkits to help them develop their own projects. Next up? A national high school service competition this fall.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "Connect with your own passion. Find an issue you're really interested in and work it into your daily life."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Mike Lydon, 28
Claim to Eco-Fame: Cycling his way to better cities
Lydon, an urban planner who runs The Street Plans Collaborative, spends the day devising master plans to improve town and city life. Treasurer of the Brooklyn, New York chapter of Transportation Alternatives, he's currently leading a campaign to lobby the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) to place bike racks on New York City buses.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "I take my folding bike on business trips. When I land, I unfold my bike, put on my backpack and explore. You can find a car trip that¹s under a mile and replace it with a bike ride. You'll get good exercise, and you'll get there almost as fast."
10 Cute Men Who Are Saving the Planet
Who: Scott Harrison, 34
Claim to Eco-Fame: He's the water guy
Once a club promoter, Harrison started charity: water three-and-a-half years ago with the sole goal of providing safe, clean drinking water to the nearly one billion people who don't have access to it. "This is a calling," he says. "I was selling decadence and escapism for a living when I worked as a promoter. Now I'm selling redemption." So far, 90,000 donors around the world have raised $19 million, funded over 2,300 water projects in 16 countries and served one million people.
His Save-The-Earth Tip: "You don't have to have a ton of money to help get drinking water to the people who need it. A nine-year-old girl ate rice and beans for a month and raised $5,000."

Hooray for honoring Michael Cory Davis, whose work is amazing. But how come he's the only person of color on either the guys' or women's list? I'm pretty sure that it's not only white people out there doing amazing things to make our world better. Bummer.

They're not all trying to save the planet and one is fighting against poverty by taking on unscrupulous employers and another is combatting sex trafficking.
