Poor little trash-stalker. Yesterday this skunk in Grand Junction, Colo., had to have its head pried loose from a peanut butter jar by a wildlife officer after it just couldn't resist the aroma of the Jiffy some human had tossed. But a little research revealed the stinker wasn't the only animal who ever found himself in a jarheaded-ed predicament. Turns out a wide variety of wild animals flock to objects that wind up being, well, head-size. Since the little fellow above was safely rescued, we can all say a collective "Awwwwww, how cute," and bask in the glory of other animals who couldn't get unstuck.
For example, this cat loves cat food. Specifically, Whiskas.

More animals caught with their heads in stuff after the jump!
Groundhogs also go hog wild for peanut butter.

At least our drunken benders have never led to this.

Obviously, bears love bird seed. Or at least bird feeders.

Oh, hello, here are some squirrels with coconuts stuck on their heads.

Happens to the best of us, woodland friend.

And of course, who could forget this timeless pairing -- a cow and a washing machine.

Is anyone else thinking of those commercial for Billy the Exterminator where the dispatcher with an amazing southern accent says, "Got a raccoon job for yeh. This one's got a jar stuck on its head"?

That's not a washing machine. That's called an automatic waterer, basically it's a water bucket at refills itself and it heats up in the winter so the water doesn't freeze over. We have them for horses.

It might be an automatic waterer but it reminds me of those cones they put on cats and dogs! My cat walked with his the same way this poor animal is.
