If they'd used this technique to illustrate the solar system and orbiting planets back in elementary school, we probably would've paid a little more attention.

Whitevinyl's SolarBeat shows the rotation of planets as if the solar system were a record -- each time a planet passes the tone arm (for our younger audience, that's stick you lift up and down to make the music play), its own unique tone is sounded, creating a slightly eerie symphony. The rotations are accurately timed in their relativity -- meaning it shows, say, how many times Mars orbits the sun in relation to Saturn. The best part, though? Our old friend Pluto made the planetary cut.
