Teens need more, and better, sleep.Who would have thought the solution to teenagers who are angry and aloof is just to give them a reasonable bedtime? One Scottish charity did, and now they're offering classes on how to sleep.

It seems there's more to learn than "turn off lights and close eyes." Sleep Scotland is giving classes on the importance of not watching television or playing video games too late, and of getting at least nine hours of sleep every night.

So, apparently we weren't falling asleep in high school zoology because it was so freaking boring, it was actually that we were only getting four hours of sleep a day -- a circumstance that would not bode very well with the Spanish, who are trying to have their midday siesta declared an art form. Campaigners are arguing that the loss of their afternoon nap could bring on the nation's downfall.

Hmmm ... perhaps a mandatory semester abroad in Madrid could teach teens how to really appreciate sleep? Or at least how to make their big sis tapas. Delicious, delicious, tapas.
