I find it strange that the school did not know that this young lady is a lesbian, or did they just find out this week ?

I live in NZ and my high school ball, we had one girl who turned up in a white tux. She looked amazing, and she wasn't the type of girl that you would expect in a dress but nobody questioned it, we were just enjoying the night. Another girl turned up in a Mrs Claus dress complete with hat. Our theme was Winter Wonderland. A girl who turned up in a huge, full skirted dress caused more trouble because she kept knocking over floor lights! Some people over react to personal style!

this is by far the stupidest thing i have ever heard. It's not like she asked to have sex with her on the dance floor!! This is something that this girl is going to remember for the rest of her life. It's supposed to be an experience to remember, for the good! not the bad!
i'm from saint cloud FL. i went to both my jr & sr prom with my long time girlfriend, she wore a tux & i wore a dress. we went with about 8 other lesbian couples. Noone said nothing to us. This breaks my heart. poor girl!

Here in my school in California were so liberal. you can see lesbians and gays holding hands making out in the halls, before school and after like any other straight couple. i thought canceling prom for that reason was stupid and out of hand.
