Last week we introduced you to "The Crying Wife" -- a woman who turns every and any movie into a sobfest regardless of genre. It turns out serial bawler Hollie isn't the only one who gets blubbery in front of the TV. So dim the lights and cue the waterworks -- here are the on-screen moments that get Lemondrop readers teary-eyed. "I cry every time I watch Sebastian the crab sing 'Under the Sea.' Because you just know that he's lying to himself." -- The Revolutionary
"When I was little I would cry at the end of the show 'Reading Rainbow.' When the hot air balloons went up, I thought they never came back down." -- Scifigrl
"I am just like her! I don't cry at funerals or weddings, but you show me it on TV and I'm bawling! What about that Dawn soap commercial where they're cleaning the baby animals covered in oil, oh my goodness! Or 'Extreme Makeover Home Edition'?!" -- Pru
"When it comes to animals ('Never Ending Story', 'Bambi,' 'Marley and Me,' etc.) bring out the waterworks, damn it. and 'Dumbo' just always make me want to bunch up into myself, and my chest gets weighted with tears wanting to come out." -- dag
"The only movie I can think of when I cried was 'The Lion King.' When Mufasa got trampled to death by the wildebeest and Simba lying there next to him makes me tear up. I do not cry anymore, but I get the tingles and a knot in my heart every time I see or hear about it." -- SandW09
"I cried embarrassingly hard and LOUD in the theater of all places in 'I am Legend' when Will Smith has to kill the dog. That was probably the most traumatic movie-going experience of my life." -- T
"Cried when I watched 'Pokemon' the movie, when Ash died and Pikachu was trying to revive him over and over. In fact, me (37) my daughter (13) and my nephew (18) all were crying watching that bit! Awful!!!" -- melanie reynolds
"I hear ya, Crying Wife. I bawled in 'She's the Man,' 'Monsters Inc.,' and 'Stepbrothers.' I don't think I can handle going to see something actually sad like 'Precious.' Although I did make it through the 'Blindside' with only one pack of Kleenex!" -- Breezy
"None of these movies that have been mentioned so far even come close to 'The Champ' with Jon Voight and Ricky Schroeder. I cried pretty much throughout the movie but the killer scene at the end of the movie when Jon Voight is in the locker room dead after what was supposed to be his come-back fight, and little Ricky Schroeder comes in and starts crying and screaming 'wake up, champ, wake up' while patting his face is a complete sob-a-thon. Tears are running down my face right now as I recall it!" -- Katherine

I'm not someone who cries easily, and I can't even remember the last time I had a really good cry.
But about two years ago, I put a rat terrier to sleep who was my best friend in the world. So, I have only ever watched "My Dog Skip" once when my dog, Max, was alive, and I blubbered all the way through the end of the credits. I don't think that's a movie that I will ever watch again.
"The Holiday" with Kate Winslet is another one when the aged movie writer walks into the ceremony honoring his accomplishments and the packed auditorium stands up and claps. I cry every time I see that part.

My Dog Skip tore me up too. It echoed my youth so much, even to the point of leaving home at 18 to join the service. After that, I guess my Beagle thought she'd done her job, her human had gone, she died a short time after I left home. She was 16 or 17.
Also, does no none remember Ole Yeller?

I have a hard time staying dry eyed through a lot of movies, but along the lines of animated films I'd have to say the movie "Spirit". It's a wonderful story with beautiful music and what the Indian boy does with the horse at the end... it gets me every time! It's both happy and sad.

I cried as a child when watching "The Land Before Time." Littlefoot thinks he sees his mother and runs toward her, yelling for her. (Nope, it wasn't her.) I bawled! I'm currently pregnant and just got The Land Before Time on DVD for my child to watch. I'm going to cry all over again!

Mary, you are absolutely right! In Imitation of Life I boohoo like a baby everytime I see/hear that girl running to the hearse crying Mama. Terms of Endearment and Beaches have me on the floor! I think with me it's that mother/daughter thing.

I don't cry from sadness but from hapiness. In the play when Annie gets dressed up at the end and the movie Brigadoon at the end, another would be Lost Horizons.

When Charles Laughton says, "Why was I not made of stone like thee?" to the gargoyle at the end of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I start to choke up just talking about that line.

I remember seeing "Life Is Beautiful" in the theater. I cried quite a bit, but my best friend didn't stop crying until well after the movie stopped. We stayed in the theater about 20 minutes after the movie was over because she was sobbing so hard.

The saddest movie I have ever seen is Edward Scissorhands. Only movie to make me cry. And I cry every single time! It is so sad, and so beautiful, and Danny Elfman made the most incredible music. Tim Burton made the movie magical....

Apparently nobody has seen Brokedown Palace. That has to be the most heartbreaking movie of all time. I think I cried for half of it and about an hour after it was over. I just couldn't imagine going through that in real life. I also cried at the end of ET, during Lorenzo's Oil, Beaches, Terms of Endearment,An Affair to Remember, A Walk to Remeber, and The Champ. There are many others that I can't think of. I guess I am a big baby, lol.

It doesn't take much for me to cry in movies, but the one that gets me every single time, is the end of Shenandoah when the Boy walk in to the church. I don't even have to have seen the rest of the movie. Just coming on that scene I'll start to cry. I cry at happy or sad endings. The difference is, I'll never watch that sad ending movie again.

I agree..it's one of the best movies and James Stewart is such a wonderful father who loved his kids. It's such a heartbreaker. It's always been one of my all-time favorite movies. I just didn't know if anyone else would know about the movie.
